do justice

He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? Micah 6:8

warning

Warning Against False Teachers
3 As I urged you when I was going to Macedonia, remain at Ephesus so that you may charge certain persons not to teach any different doctrine, 4nor to devote themselves to myths and endless genealogies, which promote speculations rather than the stewardship from God that is by faith. 5The aim of our charge is love that issues from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. 6Certain persons, by swerving from these, have wandered away into vain discussion, 7desiring to be teachers of the law, without understanding either what they are saying or the things about which they make confident assertions.
8Now we know that the law is good, if one uses it lawfully, 9understanding this, that the law is not laid down for the just but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who strike their fathers and mothers, for murderers, 10the sexually immoral, men who practice homosexuality, enslavers, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine, 11in accordance with the gospel of the glory of the blessed God with which I have been entrusted.

ask!

Goodness, I’m listening to a preacher (Mike Fabarez) talk about how Jesus was preaching on a hill about how to pray. He goes into how most of us will start adding all these exceptions. He said ‘stop it’. Jesus said that we have a God who will give us what we ask for. Quit worrying and start praying! stand up

When you read something that you know to be error or false - please correct the error.

Don't let falsehood go unchallenged. (The Pope did not say this - ever.)

  • It is necessary to believe in God.

  • There is no good person.
  •
  • The traditional notion of God is not out-dated.

  • You do need to go to church.

  • You do need to give money.

  • Nature is not the church.

  • The last one is just wrong in so many ways. Anyone can say they are a Christian.

If you read the Bible, if you ask God to send His Holy Spirit to you to help you interpret the Bible, then you won't believe false words.

Right away, when this graphic said you don't have to believe in God to be a good person . . . that triggered a response in me right away because I know what Jesus said - "There is no good person except God."

Read your Bible. Go to church. Find people who will encourage an equip you.

Discover God! Stay immersed within God.

our friend

Many of you know Cari. (She brought me back to Christ.) Well, last week Cari died. I've been watching the posts on Facebook from friends and family and almost everyone one of the posts mentions Jesus. He is the love of her life. Today I came across a post from someone I wasn't expecting. I'm posting that post here for all of you to see.

why

Some of you may not have heard about why the team went undercover to discover what they could about Planned Parenthood. Here's an article that explains what led them to this decision:

http://www.ncregister.com/daily-news/why-the-catholic-behind-the-planned-parenthood-videos-went-undercover/

There are many organizations that will help if you find that you are pregnant. Birthright.org is one that will listen, and talk with you, and will help you find organizations that will help you. You aren't alone. https://vimeo.com/67750691

If you have had an abortion in the past there are organizations that exist to help you heal: http://rachelsvineyard.org is one that pops into my mind right away.

John 14:16,27 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter . . .

As for the rest of us we can't stay silent about the slaughter of children. Call your representatives, share on social media . . . DO SOMETHING!

A Call to Solemn Assembly

What do you get when you add: Legalization of pornography + Legalization of abortion+ Legalization of same sex marriage = ?
Answer:  Famine, Pestilence, natural disasters, military invasion from foreign nations

How can you be sure, you may ask.  I am glad you asked.  Read what the Lord, has to say on this matter Deuteronomy 28:15-52

We have little time left.  The judgement train has already left the station. First stop, United States of America.
What can we do to avert this incoming disaster?  Pastors across the country need to unite as one. Loving one another as Jesus has loved them (John 15:12-13). Interlocking arms pastors need to call for a solemn assembly of weeping, fasting and prayer of all believers. A week long solemn assembly Mon-Sun. Crying out Lord spare us, don’t destroy us because of our wickedness.  Spare our land of all of these judgements to come.  Have mercy on us God for we are guilty of allowing all this wickedness in our land.

Have mercy oh God.  You spared Nineveh from certain destruction Jonah 3:6-10 Will you not relent from giving us what we deserve?  Joel2: 12-17
When: The feast of tabernacles is coming up. (September 28 - October 4).  Let us set our camping tents on the streets of Washington DC during this solemn assembly.  We will be under the light of a Blood Moon (A super moon).  In the words of the king of Nineveh “Who knows if God will turn and relent, and turn away from His fierce anger, so that we may not perish?

Sense of urgency: Do this as if your life depended on this.  It literally does.

A Call to Repentance Joel 2: 12-17

12That is why the lord says, “Turn to me now, while there is time.

Give me your hearts. Come with fasting, weeping, and mourning.
13Don’t tear your clothing in your grief, but tear your hearts instead.”
Return to the lord your God, for he is merciful and compassionate,
slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. He is eager to relent and not punish.
14Who knows? Perhaps he will give you a reprieve, sending you a blessing instead of this curse. Perhaps you will be able to offer grain and wine to the lord your God as before.

15Blow the ram’s horn in Jerusalem! Announce a time of fasting;call the people together
for a solemn meeting.16Gather all the people—the elders, the children, and even the babies.
Call the bridegroom from his quarters and the bride from her private room.

17Let the priests, who minister in the lord’s presence, stand and weep between the entry room to the Temple and the altar. Let them pray, “Spare your people, lord!
Don’t let your special possession become an object of mockery.

Don’t let them become a joke for unbelieving foreigners who say,
‘Has the God of Israel left them?’”

Sexual Inmorality:Leviticus 18:22-30
22“Do not practice homosexuality, having sex with another man as with a woman. It is a detestable sin. 23“A man must not defile himself by having sex with an animal. And a woman must not offer herself to a male animal to have intercourse with it. This is a perverse act.
24“Do not defile yourselves in any of these ways, for the people I am driving out before you have defiled themselves in all these ways. 25Because the entire land has become defiled, I am punishing
the people who live there. I will cause the land to vomit them out. 26You must obey all my decrees and regulations. You must not commit any of these detestable sins.

comfort

“The sheep hear [the good shepherd’s] voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.”

Declaring a Promise

Lately I find myself declaring this promise over my life based on Ezekiel 36:

“Then You will sprinkle clean water on me, and I will be clean. My filth will be washed away, and I will no longer worship idols. And You will give me a new heart, and You will put a new spirit in me. You will take out my stony, stubborn heart and give me a tender, responsive heart. And You will put Your Spirit in me so that I will follow Your decrees and be careful to obey Your regulations. " (Ezekiel 36:25-27 NLT)

This is my prayer oh Lord. Remember your promise. Have mercy on ny soul.

A MUST WATCH: Judgement is at our doors. If we fast, cry out and repent, it can be averted.

explanation

Some people who say they are Christians are acting just like the people around them with drinking, cussing, having sex outside of marriage, etc., and they say that since Jesus died on the cross that their sins don't count anymore. They love to throw the 'don't judge' around and 'legalistic'.

I came across this post on Facebook and I wanted to share it with you because this person explains how wrong their reasoning is and I want to keep this close so that the next time I come across someone who is only reading parts of the Bible they want to twist - I can use this.

Christ Centered (This will take you to the original post.)

SIDE NOTE: As I listen to this morning's song, I am reminded once again of the apostate church and how so many are going in the ways of the world. Adopting the world's thinking and turning from the truth ONLY found in the Word of God.

I remember I once rebuked a fellow "Christian" because his language was SO terrible and he would post really obscene things that we should have nothing to do with. His response? Actually, it was him and a friend of his who proceeded to debate with me on how there is no need for repentance since all was paid at the Cross and so they just trust in Christ for their redemption.

Isn't that JUST like the enemy? To take something that is true and twist it ever so slightly that it deceives millions. Yes, it IS true that Christ paid our sin IN FULL at the Cross BUT if you stopped there, then you clearly don't believe in ALL of the Bible and just like to read the passages that make you comfortable in your sin.

If you read the WHOLE Bible, you will see again and AGAIN that God calls us to Holiness and even says that without Holiness, we will NEVER see Him. He says that brackish and clean water cannot come from the same mouth. He says in Romans 6:1 "What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase? May it never be!" He says in Hebrews 10:26 "For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a terrifying expectation of judgment and THE FURY OF A FIRE WHICH WILL CONSUME THE ADVERSARIES." And MANY more scriptures.

Yes, you will continue to sin until you die - since even getting angry for selfish reasons - is a sin in a God that is SO Holy… BUT you will DEF not sin as you did as an unsaved person. There is a BIG difference between WILLFUL/DELIBERATE sin - which God speaks of - and the struggles we face as humans when we sin and HATE what we do. The Apostle Paul summed it up - "that which I want to do, I don't and that which I don't want to do, i do". TOO many claim Christ and yet they embrace and LOVE their sin and make excuses for it and these WILL face judgment - and those that support them, will TOO - the scriptures are clear. When you read God's Word and you see what He hates, when He lives in you, HOW can you not hate it too?

The problem with the "church" today is that they have painted everything with a love brush and have pushed God's righteousness and Holiness to the side since it is those two attributes of God which call for judgement against sin - yes, even in the "church" there will be GREAT judgement since He says that "to whom much is given, much MORE is required" and SO many are falling away from the truth - just as He predicted - and embracing the lies of satan. Convincing people that God is fine with abortion, adultery, lies, deceit, homosexual relationships and every other sin that is so prevalent in the "church" today - all in the name of "love". Spouting the unBibilical "do not judge" rubbish that I tire of hearing from people who CLEARLY don't read the scriptures.

It makes me sick to my stomach the condition of the "church".

But to those who have picked up their cross, cast off their flesh and who have held onto the truth in God's Word and who are struggling in life with all of life's curveballs and are crying out to God with broken hearts, this morning's song is for you… Yes, the Cross HAS made you flawless - TRUST HIM!

Let me introduce you to AMAZING GRACE. AMEN!  God bless your day!

Jesus said:
“I have loved you even as the Father has loved me. Remain in my love. When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love. I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow! This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you." (John 15: 9-12)

confirmed

Almighty and most merciful God, who hast sent this book to be the revelation of thy great love to man, and of thy power and will to save him, grant that our study of it may not be made vain by callousness or carelessness of our hearts, but that by it we may be confirmed in penitence, lifted to hope, made strong for service and above all, filled with the true knowledge of thee and of thy Son Jesus Christ. Amen.

who we are

1 Peter 3:15 kjv

But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear

 1 Peter 3:15 esv
but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect,

for they cannot

A member of our group lost his 16 year old son today in a car wreck.

But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep. For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.

There are no words within me that can even begin to offer hope.

He will tend his flock like a shepherd; he will gather the lambs in his arms; he will carry them in his bosom, and gently lead those that are with young.

However I know where I can go to find words and truth and comfort.

Who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

For they cannot die anymore, because they are equal to angels and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection.
