To simply put it the Bible says: If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. (1.2 Chronicles 7:14). It appears that many are still afraid to pray but many more even among those that do pray have yet learned to "turn" from their wicked ways. The only way to gain this healing of our land is to first look at yourself. We must first remove the plank from our own eye befor we can do for others.
